Rediscovery and redescription of Hiperantha fontanieri Théry, 1928 (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) and new records of buprestids from Colombia

After 97 years without records, Hiperantha fontainieri Théry, 1928 (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) is rediscovered. The species is redescribed and illustrated using three specimens from the Department of Bolívar, a new geographical record for Colombia. An identification key for the Colombian species of Hiperantha Gistel, 1834 is included, along with new departmental records for Colombia of the following buprestids species: Conognatha (Conognatha) iris (Olivier, 1790), Hiperantha testacea haemorrhoa Fairmaire, 1851, Hiperantha interrogationis interrogationis (Klug, 1825), Conognatha (Pithiscus) lebasii (Mannerheim, 1837), Dismorpha linearis (Linnaeus, 1758), Melanophila atra Gory, 1841 and Lampetis (Spinthoptera) principalis (Laporte & Gory, 1836).
