This study presents the first records of the parasitoid wasp family Leucospidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) for Uruguay, based on material collected with Malaise traps in the Department of Rocha. Two new species are described and illustrated: Leucospis mujicai Perioto & Lara, sp. nov. and Leucospis nataliae Perioto & Lara, sp. nov., both placed within the speifera species-group. The previously known distributions of L. signifera Bouček, 1974 and L. coxalis Kirby, 1885 are extended to Uruguay. These findings fill a significant gap in the known distribution of leucospid wasps in South America, and contribute to the understanding of the diversity and biogeography of Leucospis in the Neotropics.
