Abstract

This paper refers to the presence of hegelianism in Lacan's work. It discloses how the interpretation of Hegel's The Phenomenology of the Spirit got to the French psychoanalist through a complicated disposition of mirrors, where Alexandre Kojève's mirror was a fundamental piece. Through the analysis of the concept of intersubjectivity the author investigates the relations between the theories of Hegel and Lacan and the French adaptation of hegelianism, marked by existencialism.
