Abstract

Life and work of bright young people may clarify the main thesis here presented: adolescence can be described as a period in which a personal view about the world is elaborated. The adolescence of Jean Piaget was chosen as an example of our thesis. We remark that our commentary opposes itself to Piaget's own description of his youth, as presented in his autobiographical notes.
