Abstract

The absence of dialogues in the massive world obligates a standardized speech. We try to eliminate the differences, and the limits that identities are threatened. The violence of this world transfers to the periphery a big section of the population, condemned to live in inhuman conditions. People from other cities or other countries, extirpated of their identities bases, constitute expressive part of this population. Big metropolis, like São Paulo, are the whole locus of the cultural impact that threatens them. Our discussion supports in a earlier scarch work with children native of of northeastem in schools of São Paulo - we could evidence the prejudice and humiliation that affect this population. The starting point for the discrimination is almost always their regional language, almost always considered as wrong and inappropriate. The linguistics and sociolinguistics shows us the opposite. However, everything that establish oneself is denied. The civilized barbarity destroys desires, dreams, hopes and alterity.
