Abstract

El análisis de un incidente de mi trabajo de campo con veteranos argentinos que participaron en el conflicto del Atlántico Sur entre Argentina y Gran Bretaña (1982) , permite profundizar mi objeto de investigación, las memorias sobre Malvinas, y sobre el debate antropológico tradicional referido a los "antropólogos nativos " . Me propongo mostrar que el trabajo de campo es un proceso de conocimiento de la realidad social: que para la antropología, parte importante de ese proceso de conocimiento se produce en el encuentro entre investigador y sujetos de estudio en el campo, cuando se analiza como reflexiva a la realidad social, cuando se hace extensiva la reflexividad a las situaciones de campo, y cuando el investigador se convierte en su propio informante
