This paper discusses the Tupi-Mondé Cinta Larga cosmological axis which is centered on human-animal relationships contrasting it with other Tupian cosmological conceptions which are usualy focused on human-spirit relations. ln this particular society, social ties are thought of through a code based on animal qualities which can be best understood when ritual ceremonies ensuring group cohesion are observed.Downloads
