Abstract

In this work we propose resources for acoustics teaching in elementary, middle and high school based on animal vocalizations collected in the context of scientific research. The proposal focus on bibliographic and computational resources aiming at allowing interactions among different school disciplines through contextualized Physics teaching. Moreover, we expect the proposal to favor exchanges between schools and scientific institutions where those research originate and progress. Consequently, universities and scientific institutes could have opportunities to offer outreach activities to schools, while the latter could benefit from a closer contact with scientific research resources.
