Six theoretical-methodological looks on literacy

This article aims at presenting theoretical-methodological fundaments on the process of teaching-learning of the reading and the writing, featuring the complexity of the literacy in school context. Six theoretical conceptions, based on studies of linguistics, sociolinguistics, pedagogy, psycholinguistics, psychology of the development and pragmatic linguistics are treated on this article. Finally, guiding aspects are indicated for the elaboration of didactic proposals of literacy.
