Abstract

The article addresses the singularity of museums in Boston/USA, to analyze two of them: Museum of Fine Arts/MFA and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. It aims to debate the multiple relations implemented by them, in order to conquer different local audience, as well as enhance and engage with artists. The attitude collaborates to transform the visitor for a day into a partner around preservationist systematic process, i.e. purchase/donation, hospitality, protection, research, documentation, interpretation, conservation, restoration, exhibition, broadcast, publication, visits, and educational action to highlight the essential
