Abstract

The text presented highlights aspects of the book The Myth of Nations. Patrick Geary's Invention of Nationalism 2008. It spotlights contradictions presented on identity of people from modern Europe and talk about the manipulation of historical data. A carefull look at the work, shows that there is something invisible transforming nations every day. It suggests that studies about history and communication in museums and other cultural institutions should be done by an unbiased and unmanipulated way, aiding the understanding of present
