Abstract

This article addresses the current panorama and the perspectives for the energy sector in the country. It encompasses the Petrobras crisis, greenhouse effect, fossil energy sources and biofuels, in which Brazil stands out. It also takes a close look at electric energy, including hydroelectric, petroleum, natural gas and nuclear energies.
