Abstract

In November 2025, in Belém (PA), the UN conference will discuss climate challenges and environmental solutions
for the Amazon Region. During the 30th Conference of the Parties, COP30, topics such as reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, protecting tropical forests, and adapting the countries most vulnerable to the impacts of climate
change will be addressed. This paper is a compilation of four texts published on UOL’s Ecoa website related to the
environment, with an emphasis on climate change and the Amazon.
