Abstract

COP30 emerges as a turning point in the trajectory of international climate policy. The choice of the Amazon as the venue for the conference is a strategic move, placing Brazil and the biome at the center of global discussions on climate change. COP30 marks the tenth anniversary of the Paris Agreement, an opportune moment for countries to assess their progress, reinforce commitments, and accelerate the implementation of actions.
