Abstract

The effects of climate change are spread across multiple fronts: water and food shortages, forced migration, energy crises, biodiversity collapse, social and environmental conflicts. All of these dimensions are important and interconnected. This paper, however, focuses on two aspects—temperature and infectious diseases—presenting how global warming affects our bodies and how the climate crisis favors the spread and creation of infectious diseases.
