Memória, individualidade e inconsciente como expressões do funcionamento de redes nervosas: uma breve especulação

This study starts with a short explanation about how the structure and function of the brain allows memory formation along the history of interaction of the organism with the environment, and how changes in brain connectivity following these experiences build a complex associative network which structure is entirely dependent on the individual history. Then, one discusses how activity in these nervous networks represent experiences, how imagination is created by the brain, and one especulates on how the activity of these brain associative networks generate the psychoanalytic unconscious. Finally, one speculates on how the nervous network functioning relates to some key concepts of the psychoanalytic theory and with its principal methodological approach.
