Resumen

This work presents an overall assessment of the complex problems resulting from water crises. Besides offering an analysis and a diagnostic assessment, it also puts forward solutions for crisis control, risk reduction, and integrated management through effective and participatory governance. It highlights the linkages between water safet y, water crisis, availability of water resources and social stability
