Upon demonstrating that the Fukushima catastrophe did not affect the expansion plans of the nuclear industry, this article compares the arguments of those who state it is an unstoppable trend with the arguments of those who propose it be reverted. Such comparison makes one think that investments in nuclear plants are likely to be maintained until the technological advances in solar energy render them obsolete.
