Constitutional Reform in the Epoch of Economic Globalization

The purpose of this article is to evaluate the impact of economic globalization on the institutional apparatus created and forged by constitutionalism, in the last century, basically on the principles of sovereignty and legal "monism". The article aims to demonstrate as economic globalization led to the gradual erosion of the Keynesian or Welfare State as well as the classic liberal State, organized and grounded on the ideological primacy of "law's security".
