It was tested the efficiency of a cloramin drug — the paratoluenesulfonchloramidsodium in the desinfection of the shell of eggs to be commercialized under pasteurized and liquid forms. The results showed that the drug employed was able in reducing the number of bacterias present in egg shells that was represented by aerobic mesophylic bacterias, coliforms and fecal streptococcus (D group of Lancefield). There was observed too, a greater number of enterococcus when compared with the number of coliforms.
