Patriarchal Society and the Pressure for Women to be Mothers

This article aims to provide a discussion about the pressure women suffer to become pregnant in different circumstances. That said, we will first discuss the social structure that surrounds us and the types of violence that women are likely to suffer. From this, we will explore the influence of this structure on the private lives of women and also discuss the main consequences of these violences committed against this same group within the theme of pregnancy. Finally, we will define some of the possible measures to be taken to mitigate the impact of patriarchy and, optimistically, to end social control over the individual body and the determinant coerction of personal choices
