Abstract

This paper presents some aspects linked to the tendencies in education for Tourism, considering the global technical scientific evolution. lt stresses the importance of research, both in the curricular process of graduate and postgraduate as for national and international Tourism development. Some actions to encourage tourist research at the university are recommended, taking as model the Zulia University (Venezuela) experience in high school education.
