Abstract

It analyzes the origin and it presents some reasons to produce public politics of tourism, starting from the need to settle down norms and rules for definition of the paper of the several actors that compose the section. Emphasis is given in the idiosyncrasies of the Brazilian case, especially in what it concerns the vertical x horizontal dicotomy of the national politics of tourism.
