This paper presents the development of competences in tlhe educative process and, in particular, in the upbringing of the Bachelor of Tourism, trying to discuss the role of the courses of tourism in providing the developmenl of enterprising abilily. Through the identification of the characteristics described in the National Curricular Guide as well as of the required profile of the graduates, it can be established that, in order to form entrepreneurs, the courses of tourism should not only present the theme theoretically or just create a specific enterprising discipline. The pedagogic project of the institution, as a whole, must influence the consolidation of values, attitudes, behaviors, in which the ability to innovate, preserve and cohabit with incertitude becomes essential element for the upbringing of entrepreneurs.Downloads
