Abstract

The utilization of historic heritage like tourist attraction is the subject of this paper about São Vicente, coastal city of São Paulo. For decades it remained at the edge of local develop. Public Action orientate towards valorization of facts and historic sites associated with infrastructure change this image and contribute to the conscience of cultural value principally to redeem the local identity and the residents self-esteem lost in that long period of inertia.
