This article was written with the intention reflecting the potentials of solidary tourism and it’s contribution to local development, considering it’s complex approach and how it’s “6V” concept works though the analysis of the Horta Comunitária do Morro da Coroa (Morro da Coroa’s Comunnity Garden) and how it’s influenced by the concepts of the “Rede Brasilidade Solidária”. Solidary tourism is understood through the discussions involving it’s complexity, phenomenology and local development. For it’s better understanding, reflections regarding possible crisis of paradigm and possible transitions into new scientific paradigms are introduced. All these subjects are brought up through bibliographic research followed by analysis done through phenomenology and observations made during a one-year period on the community garden. The potential of the “6V’s” of solidary tourism were observed as the being the pillars of a new concept. Furthermore it was observed that the formation of networks, as proposed, is an important instrument for political actions that have the intentions of strengthening local development initiatives.Downloads
