Abstract

This work emphasizes the importance of the research about demand tourism in a development process of any small locality concenin the touristic activity. It was based on the most significatives results of descritive research realized by Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (Ilhéus-Bahia, Brazil) on the city of Belmonte, Canavieiras e Itacaré. The research proved thal the tourist is the one who gives opinion about the place conditions, structure and aspects of the tourism.
