Terapia Ocupacional: considerações sobre o contexto profissional

Abstract

This paper presents the clinicai boundaries the occupational therapists face, generally explicit in their daily professional routine. From this start point, it goes onwards dealing with the contextual impositions which influenced the creation, framing and development of the profession in Brazil. Reflections are oriented in the sense of extending and deepening the analysis carried out by Kielhofner, in the light of criticai authors, disclosing some contradictions found out in professional relationships.
