Abstract

This article introduces the first founds of the research about the history of the occupational therapy in France. It deals about the analytical description of the former and initial conditions of the creation of the profession, as well as a  panoramic view of the evolution of the Occupational Therapy until our days. The research methodology utilized is historical and the final aim of the research is the construction of a comparison between the Histories of the Occupational Therapy in Brazil and in France.
