This paper focuses on the discussion about the possibility and relevance of defining an occupational therapist's 'professional identity'. Considering the occupational therapy field as a borderline territory among several disciplines, it proposes the development of a therapisfs work within this territory, featuring the borderline beetwen art and clinic.
