Notes on the field of the occupational therapy

Abstract

Now we found in the Occupational Therapy a group of debates and polemics that would deserve they be better faced. The problem of the scientific validation of the speeches, of the different possibilities of thinking the professional challenges will be approached in this article. The objective is to offer point of view that can sustain a more fertile discussion in the area and that articulates aspects that are frequently thought in separate; especially the problem of the professional identity, of the attended populations, and aspects of the social conjuncture that determine the practices.
