The study aimed to analyse of the ageing perspective with the physical activity practice and the quality of life domains of Brazilian Electronic Telecommunication Industry workers in the Greater Florianopolis – SC. The sample was composed of 511 workers, both genders, aged 18 to 65 years. A pattern questionnaire was used containing sociodemographic aspects and
anthropometric data; Quality of Life (WHOQOL-bref); physical activity (IPAQ - short version); ageing perspective (Sheppard Inventory). The statistical program SPSS, version 16,0, was used for the analyses: descriptive (average, standard detour, amplitude and percentage), Chi-squared test, test t of Student for independent samples and multiple regression (Forward method). The results indicated that the workers presented a positive perspective in
relation to ageing. Among the factors of ageing perspective, and the gender variable, there were differences statistically signifi cant for the death (p=0,026), and the integrity factors (p=0,020). The variables contributing into the positive ageing perspective of the
male workers were the psychological (β=0,259), the environmental (β=0,183), the BMI domains (β=0,172), and age (β=-0,133). As for the female gender the environmental domain (β=0,346), and the age (β=-0,194).
