Abstract

An experiment to evaluate the effect of stool layring of feijoa was carried out in EMBR APA/CNPFT, Pelotas-RS, from August 90 to July 91. Three treatments of layring propagation were used: T1 - plant cutting 10 cm above the ground and covered with soil; T2 - No plant cutting and covered with soil up to 10 cm above the ground; and T3 - Plant cutting 10 cm above the ground and covered with soil two months later. The results obtained showed that the number of shoots and rooted shoots were more significant in T3. There was no diference between number of roots, diameter and length of shoots among treatments.
