Dissonant corporealities: reflections on Disabled Theater

This article reflects on Disabled Theater, a piece by the Swiss theatre company Theater HORA, directed by Jérôme Bel, presented in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais, Brazil) in 2014. By staging artists with different learning disabilities, Disabled Theater discusses topics such as corporeality, normality, normativity, and ethics. The reflection presented here proceeds from the association of theories of researchers such as José Antonio Sánchez, Óscar Cornago, and Francisco Ortega.
