Abstract

The authors analysed the auricle-nasal angle in 283 adult students, from both sexes, leucoderma and japanese descendents, to verify its discriminating capability ih the characterization of these populational groups and to sex diagnosis. They concluded after statistical analyses that the suggested technique is possible to establish a clear difference between xantoderma and leucoderma. Though the technique could not make sexual distinction, it could furnish some help to determine the skin colour in medical legal cases.
