Abstract

This article's purpose is to approach the disease phenomenon through the analytical psychology and the body motion paradigm, For this, it was used the C.G. Jung's archetypal theory and the M. Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology philosophical concepts. We emphasise the diseases most frequently manifested archetypal aspects; we illustrate such archetypes through two myths: the Narcissu's classical myth and the Dracula's myth. Considering both referrals, we also analyse the doctor-patient relationships, devising the limis of the body's mechanistic paradigm. We concluded that the body motion paradigm can be a major contribution towards alll the sciences involved in the human phenomenon.
