This article intends to discuss how musical streaming platforms can contribute to the users’ taste by suggesting playlists. For this, Spotify is taken as a reference. By the application of questionnaires, it was noticed that there is an idiosyncratic perception between the music consumption, the solicitation of suggestions from other people and the acceptance of playlists indicated by the platform by the users.
