This paper aims to address the fan culture and its relationship with contemporary transmedia franchises through the notion of immersive consumption. For doing that, we visited the ideas of Henry Jenkins, Carlos Alberto Scolari, Frank Rose, Arnoud and Thompson. Our intention, then, is to propose a possible category built from the inside of the fan culture, as well as to propose an analysis model of the dynamics of the fan within transmedia franchises.
