This study aims to understand the procedures inherent to the colonization process of daily consumption practices by the production place of power. Through a case study on how the House of Dior, which was in the place of power of the fashion system, colonized the garment consumption practices of the young and the working class from the 1960s, drawing inspiration from the costumes emerged among them for the design of new luxury products, we realized that there are four procedures inherent to this process, which are: reconfiguration, refunctionalization, resignification and ethicalization.Downloads
