Abstract

Article is about the production of meaning made by the micro discourse in advertisement: the name of the brand. The subverted messages displayed in shirts shows that the process of production of meaning of the name in the brand. The myth behind the brand is unveiled when it differs from the ready-mades and from the deviation. It also differs in the most ideological dimension of the language, the connotation. With its suggestive, creative and humorous content, the subversion of the brands brings out thoughts about the universe of the production de meaning of the products and its contradictions.
