The project started in 2004 at the Psychiatric Ward of the HUSM (Santa Maria University Hospital/RS) aims to construct a new care model for people hospitalized for psychotic attack. The idea of providing conditions for service users to circulate across several environments in the community and the institution strengthens the Psychiatric Reform principle, which advocates the desinstitutionalization and insertion of mental patients. In this way, we focus on the importance of involving different actors to broaden perspectives and provoke different discussions in a dialectic movement toward a new practice in Mental Health.
