Perceived stress in nursing undergraduate students

This study aimed to assess the levels of perceived stress in undergraduated students of a university from São Paulo state. Instruments were used to the evaluation of social and demographic data, and the Perceived Stress Scale as well. After the data analysis, it was found as main results the overload described by the participants, as stressors related to the course, there has been described also difficulties concerning the way of deal with stress. Thus, it was concluded that the routine of the student, plus the lack of spare time and support networks, can have influence on the mental health and perceived stress of the participants.
