Suicidio, depresión y minorias sexuales y de género: publicaciones en blogs personales

Objetivo: el objetivo del estudio fue analizar temas relacionados con el suicidio, la depresión y la población LGBT de publicaciones en blogs en la plataforma de blogs (Tumblr®). Métodos: Se identificaron 14 blogs, con 916 puestos elegibles y todos fueron sometidos a analisis temático. Resultados: Los principales temas tratados en los blogs se relacionaron con el sufrimiento intenso, los comportamientos autodestructivos, la vulnerabilidad emocional, el rechazo y la autoestima. Conclusión: estos temas revelan necesidades importantes que deben investigarse y abordarse en intervenciones para promover la salud mental en la comunidad LGBT a nivel individual y colectivo.
