O texto pretende abordar a questão da nação entendida como corpo nacional e, nesta perspectiva, trabalhar o problemas das suas margens e de como elas entram no processo de construção da identidade nacional no contexto pós-colonial. Subjacente a isso destaca-se a questão da narração entendida como forma capaz de registrar a memória partilhada de um povo.
