Hide to survive: the complicity of silence

This paper analyzes the novel Purple Hibisc (2011), by the nigerian write Chimamanda NGozi Adich. We intend to discuss the expedition adopted by subaltern characters engendered through literatures produced under the impact of colonization process as a survival strategy in the face of domination and silencing systems imposes by authoritarian regimes.
