Abstract

In this research, we intended to discuss the use of parasound elements (KISCHINHEVSKY E MODESTO, 2014) used by podcasts to understand to what extent occurs the association of these resources between audio and new narrative possibilities.  The proposal aimed to investigate the use of parasound elements in the podcast Pistoleiros and the convergence debate, permeating issues involving the construction of multimedia narrative, having the podcast as a central element. To do so, we adopted as methodology the case study of exploratory and descriptive character. As an empirical object it was selected the audio series Pistoleiros (2021), it was possible to consider that the adoption of the parasound elements by the production collaborated in the narrative experience due to the characterization of media convergence, which expanded the content to other formats.
