Museums in Retreat: How Far Does the Pluralism of Institutions Go?

On September 21st, 2020, the travelling exhibition “Philip Guston Now” was postponed in the United States and England. This article tries to understand the reasons behind this reaction and the struggle faced by institutions in order to deal with the contradictions presented by new social movements.
