From a Glimpse on the Borba Gato (in Santo Amaro)

Departing from the events that took place in 2021 regarding the sculpture of Borba Gato (located in the district of Santo Amaro, in São Paulo), our aim is to conceive both the specificity and the complexity of works of art in the public space of contemporary cities, its relations to the History of art, to the society, and the multiplication inside and outside the most restricted artistic circuits.
