“Fiction erodes fact”: an introduction on Bruce Nauman’s writings

This new section of Ars is dedicated to artists' writings and presents five of Bruce Nauman's writings, translated to Portuguese in the scope of a thesis research on Nauman's body of works. Nauman's writing is intrinsic to his production and, instead of explaining it, reinforces its ambiguous aspects. The words, written or spoken, share the same nature of the other materials he employs in his works, that is, they are treated as raw materials under inspection.Downloads
