Résumé

This paper is concerned with the a-thing project (2013) and its discussions about body's singularities, tracking the visceral data to amplify bodily noises and to represent them as the information visualisation in the space. The wearable artefact presents itself in three different situations of use and contexts of significance named as “body-animal”, which organizes material attributes of shape by changing the silhouette and reordering the body; “body-device”, which captures physiological data; and “body-thing” that evokes modes of perception and process of individuation, considering that the user/performer can inhabit a-thing and recognise different spaces.
